After a long process we can release this unique bust, an uhlan from the 1st Uhlan Regiment of Polish Legions in the Austro-Hungarian Army 1914-18. About historical background we recommend two lexicon links:
In spite of we can find several pictures about the first brigade, did not remain enough original uniform items to know the exact colours. In Vienna (HGM – Austrian Military Museum) we can find an original Chapka (the headgear) and next to this we can find a totally different uniform of the 2nd brigade. So, only the Czapka helps by the colours. We know many colorized photos, but these are not originals.
By the greys I used a mix of Luwtwaffe uniform, Russian Tank crew (from Panzer Aces), some blue, white and black. By reds I used Carmine and Rosa, all from Vallejo. I will share more info’s about details here on the block soon.
Many new products are coming in the next month as we earlier said. First one – or two, because it comes in Scales 1/9 and 1/16 too – will be the British Airborne Officer, Arnhem 1944. The boxart was just finished. We hope you like it.
Sculpted By Darko Prenosil
Painted by Balazs Schuller
The small one was painted by Gabor Szabó
Gábor is very busy this time, so his pictures are coming later.
I have begun the painting process of our next release Medieval Italian stairs (from the 10-15th Century) in Scale 54-75mm. In the first steps I assembled the 3 resin parts and sprayed with black. After masking I worked with airbrush. I painted only the base colour and some shades. In the next steps I will work only by brushes.
Master was built by Péter Gráczol
Painted by me (Balázs Schuller)
Release date will be in September
The first casts of Darko’s bust are ready. You could kill with so many resins (but please do not!). The weight without plug is 160 g and I measured the scale is about 1:6. It will be the biggest miniature what we released ever. To compare with Darko’s earlier works, I took a picture with them.
Up the next week you can order the bust on our site.
