Finally the girls are done. Many parts were changed, later will be coming some alternative parts, but first we have to cast them.
Medieval Italian stairs – in progress
I have begun the painting process of our next release Medieval Italian stairs (from the 10-15th Century) in Scale 54-75mm. In the first steps I assembled the 3 resin parts and sprayed with black. After masking I worked with airbrush. I painted only the base colour and some shades. In the next steps I will work only by brushes.
Master was built by Péter Gráczol
Painted by me (Balázs Schuller)
Release date will be in September
Umbrella girls – in progress – 54mm
For a while I am working on this two girl figures in Scale 1:32. Because thin parts are very brokenly first I made a female frame and some character heads, after moulding and casting I continued the work with resin casts. I use now mainly Milliput, but also Beesputty has place on the table. I work now very slow, but I hope I can finished them in this month.
Central European street in 1/72
Our first diorama accessories in Scale 1/72. Two houses from our city Sopron were built in the 19th Century. Ideal for dioramas at the second world war and later.
The sets are available for 16 EUR / house and for 30 EUR for both. If you want one, please e-mail us!
Airport ‘1930s 1/72
I finished these figures in March for Gábor Kovács, who built a diorama about a sport airfield from the 1930s years in Scale 1/72. The figures will be released from resin in the near future. The diorama won gold medal and a master degree on the 20th Mosonshow on the last weekend.
Aboriginal is finished :-)
Finaly I closed the painting progress on the Aboriginal bust. Now we will print the boxart pictures and will be released on this weekend.
Aboriginal – preorder
We are working on the boxart of the new bust, but up today you can preorder it here.
The Slave
I sculpted this figure two years ago and was on our range as 54-09 as a slave of this orc. Not my best work ever, but I like it. I always wanted to paint it, but never had time or anithing… No I finished and can put it to a vignette, what I paint later.
Scale 54mm. The heraldic is mixed from real coat of arms and colors.
An average day in New York – 1:35
2 month ago a friend who returning to the hobby visited me and I show him some sculpting tricks, how he could update a commercial figure in Scale 1/35. He like the postapocalyptic subjects, so we built a “zombie killer” from the remainders box (BAM 35-20 Graffiti painter, 35-15 Modern driver and a head from the 35-21 Modern Asian conflicts head set). And we also built a base from Styrofoam and the new resin base of BAM. Ok, it sounds to a promotion, but in a workshop where you produce figures this is the cheapest way to build something.
Later I was thinking on the instalment of this scene with more figures. First I built up a running man, but the “killer” was too static for him. So I got another idea and start a new subject: an average day in New York. The policeman closed the crime scene but the press workers want to correspond…
The afro newswoman is full scratch, by the policeman I used a head of a Hungarian soldier’s (BAM 35-22).
Figures aren’t totally finished, some works on the surface are needed. I’m not so satisfied with the composition, but it is not a big problem. A collector bought the figures and he will build a biger base with other idea. For me it was a good practice.
